Sir Colin Terry joins BOXARR as Chairman

BOXARR is delighted to announce the appointment of Sir Colin Terry KBE CB DL FREng as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Sir Colin is a passionate advocate of BOXARR, and our valuable contribution to helping organisations effectively manage their complexity and inter-dependency.

Sir Colin has a highly distinguished career, having served as Chairman of the Military Safety Advisory Committee MoD Whitehall; Chairman of Meggitt PLC as an FTSE100 international aerospace enterprise; President of the Royal Aeronautical Society; and Chairman of the Engineering Council UK.

Educated at Imperial College London, Sir Colin joined the Royal Air Force in 1961 and served to retirement in 1999. During his service, Sir Colin rose to the rank of Air Marshal (3 Star), and served as Chief Engineer RAF; Director-General of Support Management; Chief of Staff and then Air Officer Commander in Chief at RAF Logistics Command, and on the RAF Board as the Air Member for Logistics; responsible for 15,000 staff over twenty bases, and managing an annual budget of £2bn.

Sir Colin is a Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire, Companion of the Order of the Bath, and Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering.

Sir Colin says, “Throughout my career I’ve witnessed the impacts that increasing inter-dependency has on people’s ability to manage operations, deliver projects, mitigate risks and control costs, and I would certainly have welcomed having the capabilities BOXARR brings to make effective decisions. I’m excited to be joining BOXARR and helping customers across all sectors effectively manage this significant and growing challenge.
