Their Challenge
Modern engineering organizations like this client are dominated by complex design processes, involving many steps and many software tools.
The implications for changing the standard toolset could be profound, but are essentially intractable: who uses what for what, under what license arrangements, generating what data artefacts?
Would the elimination of an artefact, or the tools that produce it yield an increase in productivity, or a log jam of effort?
