BOXARR CTO is heading to Rio de Janeiro

We are pleased to announce that our CTO Dr. Robert Elliott Smith, PhD will be giving a talk and a workshop at The CuboTalks Global Summit which will take place in Rio, Brazil 20-21 of September, at the fabulous Museum of Tomorrow.

Rob highlighted: "It’s an interesting event, bringing together world experts on the challenging and complex projects around the world today. It's a great opportunity to address the topics of complexity management and how computing power can help humans to take a holistic view of inter-dependencies in order to make decisions more assertive".

About Rob:

Rob has PhD in Engineering Science and Mechanics and became a tenured Aerospace Engineering professor at the University of Alabama. Rob was Director of the Intelligent Computing Systems Centre at The University of the West of England from 1997 until 2005 and remains a Senior Research Fellow in Computer Science at University College London. Rob has conducted research projects for the U.S. Army Strategic Defence Command, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Oak Ridge National Laboratories, NASA, Boeing, NSF, EPSRC, The European Union, DERA, British Aerospace, Airbus, British Telecom, The Bank of England, and The UK Competitive Market Authority. He is a former Associate Editor of the journal Evolutionary Computation, The IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation, and he has served on the editorial boards of several other journals.
